The 90,000-square-foot tower is expected to cost between $38 million and $40 million and will include a maternity ward, an orthopedic and neurosurgery unit, a cafeteria and a chapel. The facility will also enable WMC to convert existing shared rooms into private rooms.
The tower will replace a vacant wing and an MRI building and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2013.
