Here are five things to know about Mr. Rasnick.
1. He is a seasoned Third Party Administrator veteran with more than 35 years of experience in the private insurance sector.
2. Currently, he is president of Self Insured Plans, based in Naples, Fla.
3. Previously, he held the following positions:
- President of Gem Insurance Company
- President of Foundation Health National Life Insurance Company
- Chairman of ProAmerica, a national PPO organization
- President of The Travelers Plan Administrators, the third largest national benefits administrator, covering more than 1 million members
- President and founder of Claims Administration Services
4. In his new role with HCAA, he will be responsible for strategic planning and leadership, as well as contributing to the future growth of the association.
5. Mr. Rasnick comes to the role as HCAA gears up for its most anticipated event, the HCAA Executive Forum, scheduled for Feb. 9-11 in Las Vegas. This year’s keynote speaker will be Tom Daschle (D), former U.S. Senator from South Dakota, and former U.S. Senate Majority Leader.
