The effort aims to celebrate female employees who demonstrate the same strength, leadership and compassion as the health system’s founder, Abigail Geisinger.
Geisinger kicked off the initiative March 1 by honoring Lynn Miller, the system’s executive vice president of clinical operations.
Since then, recognized employees have come from a broad range of roles, including phlebotomists, nurse navigators, researchers and operations directors.
