3. The Mike Bromberg Lifetime Achievement Award was named after Mike Bromberg, who passed away in 2016. He led the FAH from 1969 to 1994 and remained active with the organization until he passed away.
4. Ms. Powers is CEO of the eastern region-coastal division of Tenet Healthcare. This year, her oversight was expanded to hospitals in South Carolina and Massachusetts, putting the total number of hospitals she manages to 17.
5. The Corris Boyd Leadership Award “honors an individual or company that has made an outstanding contribution in fostering leadership in the healthcare industry,” and it was named for Corris Boyd, who spent his career in hospital and group purchasing organization management.
