Ms. Norwood joined the state agency in 2015 after spending 20 years at Aetna, where she held numerous leadership positions, including president of the Mid-America region and CEO, president and COO of Aetna’s population health management group, ActiveHealth Management.
In addition to her executive vice president role at Anthem, Ms. Norwood will become president of the government business division. Ms. Norwood will be responsible for Anthem’s Medicaid and Medicare businesses.
