Decatur County Memorial Hospital President and CEO Linda Simmons told the Greensburg Daily News that the job cuts were “primarily at the management level,” and the changes “allow us to remain financially strong and competitive in our market so that we can continue to function as an independent hospital in our community.”

The job cuts affect less than 1 percent of the hospital’s workforce.
