Connecticut’s Hartford Hospital Plans $61M Expansion

Hartford (Conn.) Hospital has planned a $61 million expansion that is part of a larger 10-year makeover of the hospital campus, according to a Hartford Courant news report.

The expansion plan includes expanding the emergency department and the construction of a new chapel and parking garage. Construction on the chapel has already begun, though the hospital will not break ground on the new parking lot until later this year. The project is being financed through a $350 million bond.
