Columbus Regional Healthcare CEO Henry Hawthorne to Step Down

Henry Hawthorne, CEO of Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, N.C., is resigning from his position to “pursue other opportunities,” according to a WECT report.

Duane Erwin has been named interim CEO. Mr. Erwin most recently served as CEO of Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus.
