Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital CMO Dr. Doug Patten Resigns

Doug Patten, MD, CMO of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany Ga., has resigned, according to an Albany Herald report.

Dr. Patten has accepted the medical director position with the Georgia Hospital Association’s education and research foundation, expected to begin sometime in June, according to the report.

Dr. Patten will serve as interim CEO at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in America, Ga., until he begins his new role, according to the report.

Frank Middleton, MD, is serving as interim CMO for Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
