Kansas City, Mo.-based Truman Medical Centers is welcoming Cerner Corp., President Zane Burke to its board of directors, according to a report from the Kansas City Business Journal.
The appointment comes a year after the two organizations agreed to a 10-year strategic partnership to develop and pilot IT-related care innovations. TMC has used Cerner's products since 1992.
Also joining the TMC board are Missouri Sen. Kiki Curls, D-Kansas City, Jackson County Treasurer Marc de Rome and attorney Jon Otto, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
