An appeal of a CON decision that approved Birmingham, Ala.-based Trinity Medical Center’s plan to move to a new site is pending. The Circuit Court judge ordered regulators to receive new evidence and reconsider their approval. Attorney Jim Williams said the new bill may allow Trinity to avoid this requirement, according to the report.
