Ohio’s Akron General Health System Names Ben Alvarez CMO

Akron (Ohio) General Health System has named Benito “Ben” Alvarez, MD, senior vice president of medical affairs and CMO of the 511-bed Akron General Medical Center effective July 1, according to a system news release.

Dr. Alvarez currently serves as co-director of the Eastern Division Section of General Obstetrics and Gynecology and quality review officer for the Women’s Health Institute at Cleveland Clinic.
