4. AmerisourceBergen to close California distribution center, cut 100 jobs
AmerisourceBergen, a major hospital supplier in the U.S., will close its distribution center in Valencia, Calif., resulting in 100 layoffs.
5. New Jersey drugmaker to cut 69 opioid sales jobs
Daiichi Sankyo, which has a U.S. headquarters in Basking Ridge, N.J., will eliminate 69 opioid pain medication sales force jobs by October.
