5 healthcare layoffs in August

The following healthcare layoffs were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in August. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Wilmington-based Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware, the largest health insurance provider in the state, laid off 12 employees.
