Listed below are three tips to help executives stop feeling stressed and overworked.
1. Don’t frame productivity in terms of hours, but instead think of a slightly looser schedule as beneficial to your business because it is beneficial to you and your own mental well-being.
2. Find your reasons for change, whether they are for health or family relationships, and embrace these goals as you would goals for your business. Reducing your schedule is not a sign of weakness, but instead indicative of a disciplined leader who is able to stick to priorities they set for themselves.
3. Make one or two concrete changes, such as leaving 30 minutes between scheduled meetings or scheduling a meeting with yourself every day to give you time to take a walk or do some breathing exercises.
