Kingwood Medical Center Constructs Women’s and Children’s Facility

Kingwood (Texas) Medical Center is in the process of constructing a new women’s and children’s center in Kingwood, according to an article from The Humble Observer.

The $80 million, three-floor center will feature rooms for labor, post-partum care, high-risk anti-partum patients, c-section services, neo-natal intensive care and a triage area for women in labor.

After the center opens in 2014, KMC will look into adding fourth and fifth floors and a parking garage, according to the report.
