Health Quest Creates Coordinated Cardiovascular Care Network

LaGrangeville, N.Y.-based Health Quest System has launched a cardiovascular institute across its hospitals, according to a report from the Westchester County Business Journal.

The institute is a coordinated care network designed to streamline communication among cardiac physicians and primary care physicians to ensure the best cardiovascular care at all times. The institute plan also includes expanding hospital offerings to cardiothoracic surgery, according to the report.

The new cardiovascular care network includes Rhinebeck, N.Y.-based Northern Dutchess Hospital, Carmel, N.Y.-based Putnam Hospital Center and Poughkeepsie, N.Y.- based Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
