14 Latest Hospital Expansions in Pediatrics, Imaging and Other Specialties

Here are 14 expansions in pediatrics, imaging and other specialties hospitals and health systems announced in the past two months, beginning with the most recent.

1. Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora opened its new $11 million outpatient specialty care center in Colorado Springs.

2. Detroit Medical Center opened its $43 million Children's Hospital of Michigan Specialty Center-Detroit.

3. Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock plans to open its $121 million expansion later this month.

4. Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Wash., broke ground on a new orthopedic hospital.

5. Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston is establishing the Texas Trauma Institute to improve survival and recovery rates for trauma victims.

6. Children's Hospital Los Angeles opened a new pediatrics outpatient center in Santa Clarita, Calif.

7. Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network opened Children's Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
