York General names Jim Ulrich CEO: 4 things to know

York (Neb.) General appointed Jim Ulrich as CEO, effective Oct. 31, according a York News Times report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Ulrich most recently served as president and CEO of Community Hospital in McCook, Neb., where he also previously served as COO.

2. He previously worked as director of finance at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Neb.

3. He is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. He is replacing Charles Schulz, who is ending his 21-year tenure at York General to retire.
