Mr. Melton’s new role begins March 2.
Previously, Mr. Melton served as director of operations of Plano, Texas-based LHP Hospital Group, a joint venture partner and hospital operator. Before that, he was assistant administrator at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
Mr. Melton replaces Roy Vinson, who has served as interim CEO since September 2014.
