Wyoming hospital names CEO

Tony Swart has been appointed CEO of Aspen Mountain Medical Center in Rock Springs, Wyo.

Mr. Swart brings 19 years of healthcare experience, including hospital operations, finance, supply chain and service development, according to an Oct. 7 hospital news release.

He previously served as vice president of operations and finance for Saint Alphonsus in Eastern Oregon and administrator of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City, Ore.

During his tenure in Oregon, Mr. Swart helped expand access to care through provider recruitment, development of rehabilitation and cardiology services, and partnerships with local organizations.

Mr. Swart began his healthcare career in 2007 as a PRN pharmacy technician before moving into purchasing, supply chain, process improvement, finance and executive leadership roles.
