Wyoming Hospital Hires New CEO

Pamela Maples Maher has signed a six-month agreement to serve as CEO of St. John’s Medical Center in Jackson Hole, Wyo., replacing Jim Schuessler, who was fired by St. John’s board of trustees in June, according to a report in the Jackson Hole Daily.

Ms. Maher’s agreement begins Aug. 12 and end Feb. 2. Her contract will be renewed for consecutive two-year terms, unless she or St. John’s gives written notice that the contract won’t be renewed, according to the report.

Ms. Maher served as CEO of St. John’s from 1986-2005. Currently, she serves as CEO of Arizona Regional Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz.
