Wilkes-Barre General Hospital CMO to transition back to patient care: 4 points

Douglas Coslett, MD, CMO of Wilkes-Barre (Pa.) General Hospital, is stepping down from his role to return to direct patient care, according to The Citizen’s Voice.

Four points:

1. Dr. Coslett was named CMO of the hospital in 2016.

2. He provided care as an obstetrics and gynecology for 23 years, after which he limited his practice to gynecology for 15 years.

3. Dr. Coslett has also served as an associate professor of OB/GYN at the Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, Pa.

4. He will continue to serve as CMO until his successor is identified.
