Mr. Awan has served as CIO of Navicent Health since 2016. His role will now be expanded to include the development and deployment of digitalization strategy and platforms for Navicent Health and Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health’s “strategic combination.” He has 20-plus years of health IT leadership experience.

Mr. Awan has received several awards over the course of his career, including the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives 2018 Transformational Leadership Award. He is also a CHIME Certified CIO.
