Ms. Surkala comes to Westfield Memorial Hospital from Select Specialty Hospital in Erie, Pa., where she was CEO. She was previously director of strategic agenda management at Cleveland Clinic.
Ms. Surkala also served as Westfield Memorial’s vice president and administrator from 2007 to 2011.
She holds an MBA from St. Leo (Fla.) University.
