Mr. DeBarba will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the two hospitals, as well as overseeing medical affairs, nursing, quality and human resources across the network and the Western Connecticut Medical Group, according to the report.
Previously, Mr. DeBarba served as president and CEO of Norwalk (Conn.) Hospital for nearly five years. He holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Conn.
