Tom Jensen, CEO of Aberdeen, Wash.-based Harbor Regional Health, will retire Aug. 7 following 16 years of service to the organization, according to a health system news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Jensen joined the organization in 2010 from Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, Wash., where he served as CEO and superintendent.
During his tenure, he helped guide Grays Harbor Community Hospital, Harbor Medical Group and their outpatient clinics as they rebranded as Harbor Regional Health effective April 5, 2021. He also led the organization’s transition to public hospital district status and worked with state legislators to help secure enhanced Medicaid support for sole community hospitals in Washington state, according to the release.
CFO Niall Foley will serve as interim CEO following Mr. Jensen’s retirement.
