Walter Ramos named president of Carney Hospital: 3 things to know

Walter J. Ramos has been named president of Carney Hospital in Dorchester, Mass., a member of Boston-based Steward Health Care System, according to The Boston Globe.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Ramos and his new position.

1. Mr. Ramos previously served as president and CEO of DotHouse Health, a health center in Dorchester.

2. Mr. Ramos will start his new role at Carney in July.

3. Mr. Ramos will take over for Andy Davis, who led Carney for a couple years before stepping down in March, according to the report.
