VUMC taps AVP of revenue cycle management

Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center has named John Wilhelm associate vice president of revenue cycle operations, according to a post on his LinkedIn page.

Mr. Wilhelm joins the health system from Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine, where he served as executive director of operations, according to his LinkedIn page. He also previously served as director of revenue cycle management and revenue cycle manager for the system. 

Prior to joining Johns Hopkins Medicine, he served as manager of patient financial services at Lancaster (Pa.) General Health. 

Mr. Wilhelm joins another former Johns Hopkins revenue cycle leader who joined VUMC last year. Lakmini Kidder was named vice president of finance and chief revenue officer. She was previously the vice president of enterprise revenue cycle management at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
