Virginia hospital promotes CNO to CEO

William “Bill” Alley, BSN, RN, has been appointed CEO of Twin County Regional Healthcare, a Duke LifePoint facility in Galax, Va. He stepped into the role June 23.

Mr. Alley has spent more than a decade with the hospital, most recently serving as chief nursing officer, according to a June 23 Facebook post from the organization. He previously served as director of surgical services and is a former U.S. Army captain.

He succeeds Sudandra Ratnasamy, BSN, who was named CEO of Rutherford Regional Health System in Rutherfordton, N.C.
