Ventura Country Medical Center names Kim Milstien CEO

Kim Milstien, former chief of Simi Valley (Calif.) Hospital, will serve as CEO of Ventura County Medical Center beginning March 1, according to Ventura County Star.

In this role, Ms. Milstien will lead 1,432 employees at VCMC in Ventura as Santa Paula (Calif.) Hospital.

Ms. Milstien resigned as president and CEO of Simi Valley Hospital after serving in the role for two years. She was with the hospital’s parent company, Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health, for 18 years.

Ms. Milstien replaces Cyndie Cole, who resigned in September after serving for two years as administrator and 29 years with VCMC.
