Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Scott has served as interim CEO since January 2017.
2. He assumed the role after John McCabe, MD, departed to “pursue professional and personal interests.”
3. Robert J. Corona Jr., DO, chair of pathology and director of pathology services at the hospital, will take over as the new interim CEO.
4. Dr. Corona established the hospital’s telemedicine program in the 1990s, before leaving for Welch Allyn, a medical device maker. He returned to Upstate University Hospital in 2012.
