UPMC Chautauqua names interim president: 4 notes

Jamestown, N.Y.-based UPMC Chautauqua appointed Brian Durniok interim president, according to The Post-Journal.

Four notes:

1. Mr. Durniok was previously president of UPMC Northwest in Seneca, Pa.

2. He joined UPMC Horizon, which includes facilities in Greenville, Pa., and Farrell, Pa., in 1995 as director of human resources.

3. He also has experience serving as vice president of human resources for UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa., and its affiliates.

4. Mr. Durniok succeeded Betsy Wright, who retired at the end of 2018.
