Mr. Lang will leave UPHS-Portage at the end of the month “to take on a new position with a different organization,” according to the report. The report did not include details about the new position.

“We realize that this is an important change for our hospital and our community,” UPHS – Portage said in a news release obtained by The Daily Mining Gazette. ” … and we will keep the community informed of our progress as we search for the right person to lead UPHS-Portage forward.”

The system named Mr. Lang CEO in 2015. Roy Vinson will take over as interim CEO. He has more than four decades of healthcare management experience.
