UP Health System names CFO for 222-bed hospital

UP Health System-Marquette (Mich.), a 222-bed hospital, has appointed Teresa Perry CFO.

Ms. Perry brings more than 17 years of experience with the health system to the role. She most recently served as CFO of UP Health System-Bell in Ishpeming, Mich., a position she held for 12 years. She previously served as controller at the same facility, with a focus on financial operations, compliance and strategic planning.

She is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the Michigan Health & Hospital Association’s CFO Council, Small Rural Hospital Council and Behavioral Health Council. She also serves on the membership and education committees of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

“As someone who was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula, stepping into the role of CFO at UP Health System – Marquette is especially meaningful,” Ms. Perry said in a Jan. 22 news release. “This opportunity allows me to continue my career while remaining committed to the community I call home.”
