UP Health System Market President Jim Bogan announces retirement: 4 things to know

Marquette, Mich.-based UP Health System Market President Jim Bogan is retiring in the spring of 2017, according to an Upper Michigan Source report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Bogan has served in this role since the health system was formed in 2014.

2. UP Health System includes UP Health System-Portage in Hancock, Mich., UP Health System-Bell in Ishpeming, Mich., and UP Health System-Marquette (Mich.).

3. Mr. Bogan has also previously served as CEO of UP Health System-Portage.

4. The current CEOs of the three UP Health System will begin reporting to Jeff Seraphine, eastern group president at Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health. UP Health System is a part of LifePoint Health.
