Mr. Barrow has served as the medical center’s CEO since 2006, prior to which he led Opelousas (La.) General Health System. During his tenure, Mr. Barrow was instrumental in growing the medical center and led its move to a new location in 2011. His primary reason for retiring is to spend more time with his family.
Mr. Barrow will remain in his role until the medical center names a successor.
