Omaha-based University of Nebraska Medical Center has named three division chiefs within its department of internal medicine.
All three appointees previously held interim chief roles for their respective divisions, according to an Aug. 12 news release from UNMC.
Bryant England, MD, PhD, has been appointed chief of the division of rheumatology and immunology; Matthew Lunning, DO, has been appointed chief of the division of hematology; and Nicole Shonka, MD, has been appointed chief of the division of medical oncology.
Dr. Lunning and Dr. Shonka are also members of UNMC’s Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
