Galveston, Texas-based University of Texas Medical Branch has named Jayson Laban vice president and chief information officer, effective May 1.
In this role, Mr. Laban will oversee technology strategy and innovation and work to strengthen digital capabilities across the organization, according to an April 30 news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Laban has served as interim vice president and chief information officer at the University of Texas Medical Branch since Jan. 1.
