University of Miami Health System selects permanent chief patient safety & quality officer

University of Miami Health System named David Sinclair, MD, permanent chief patient safety and quality officer.

Dr. Sinclair, an associate professor of anesthesiology, served in the role on an interim basis since November 2016. His previous roles included serving as associate CMO and patient safety officer at University of Miami Hospital and associate chief medical information officer for University of Miami Health.

In addition to his medical degrees, Dr. Sinclair holds an MBA degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
