University of Maryland Shore Regional Health names Jennifer Bowie CNO

Baltimore-based University of Maryland Shore Regional Health appointed Jennifer L. Bowie vice president for nursing and patient care services and chief nursing officer, according to The Chestertown Spy.

Ms. Bowie previously served as vice president of patient care services and chief nurse executive at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore. She has also served as administrative director of women’s and children’s services at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Va.

In addition to her nursing degree, she holds an MBA from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.

Ms. Bowie succeeded Ruth Ann Jones, who retired.
