University of Maryland Medicine adds Heather Culp to C-suite

The University of Maryland’s medical center and medical school, both based in Baltimore, have named Heather Culp senior vice president and chief philanthropy officer.

Ms. Culp has more than 15 years of experience in philanthropy leadership, according to a news release shared with Becker’s Jan. 9. She most recently served as executive director of development for the Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine, also based in Baltimore. 

In her new role, Ms. Culp will guide fundraising efforts for UMMC’s downtown and midtown campuses, the medical school, and the rehabilitation and orthopedic institute.
