University of Iowa Health Care appoints Doug True interim CFO: 4 things to know

Iowa City-based University of Iowa Health Care selected Doug True to serve as interim associate vice president and CFO, effective June 30.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. True retired from the University of Iowa in 2015. He has been serving as a consultant for university operations since then.

2. He is coming out of retirement to take on the interim CFO role. He is replacing Ken Fisher, who is retiring.

3. Mr. True previously served as the University of Iowa’s senior vice president for finance and operations as well as treasurer.

4. He holds an MBA degree from Des Moines, Iowa-based Drake University and joined the University of Iowa in 1988.
