MultiCare selects leaders for Rockwood Health System hospitals, clinics

Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health System named leaders for facilities within the Spokane, Wash.-based Rockwood Health System, according to a report by The Spokesman-Review. MultiCare is purchasing Rockwood for $425 million in a deal expected to close on July 1.

Rockwood Health System includes the 388-bed Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, the 123-bed Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley, Wash., and the multispecialty Rockwood Clinic, also based in Spokane.

MultiCare appointed Laureen Driscoll president of Deaconess Hospital. Ms. Driscoll is currently vice president of operations for MultiCare.

Greg Repetti will continue to serve as president of Valley Hospital. He led the hospital since 2014, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to that, he was COO of Rockwood Clinic.

MultiCare selected Monica Blykowski-May, MD, to serve as interim president of Rockwood Clinic. A family medicine physician, she joined the clinic in 1997.
