Dr. Hurford currently serves as chair of the department of anesthesiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, a position he has held since 2003. UC Health is the medical college’s affiliated health system.
Prior to joining the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Hurford was director of critical care in the department of anesthesia and critical care and director of respiratory care at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He has published more than 150 scientific articles and reviews.
