UnityPoint Health’s Fort Dodge hospital names new CEO: 5 things to know

UnityPoint Health’s Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa, selected Leah Glasgo to serve as president and CEO, effective Jan. 28, 2019, according to The Messenger.

Here are five things to know:

1. Ms. Glasgo currently serves as COO of UnityPoint Health’s St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

2. She joined West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health in 2013 as vice president of rural development for the Fort Dodge and Sioux City regions.

3. She previously served as president and CEO of Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City, Iowa.

4. Ms. Glasgo holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Des Moines (Iowa) University.

5. She succeeds Mike Dewerff, who transitioned into the senior vice president and CFO role at UnityPoint Health-Des Moines (Iowa).
