UM Upper Chesapeake Health hires inaugural VP of patient experience

U of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health in Bel Air named Cassandra Crowe-Jackson its first vice president of patient experience, according to a Cecil Whig report.

Here are four points:

1. Ms. Crowe-Jackson most recently served as senior director of the patient experience office at Denver-based University of Colorado Health.

2. Her previous roles include director of service excellence at St. Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, Calif., and director of service excellence and patient relations at Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.

3. With more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience under her belt, Ms. Crowe-Jackson is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and National Association of Health Services Executives.

4. She holds an MBA from Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, N.C.
