Rene Havel has been appointed CEO of Northwest Texas Healthcare System Behavioral Health Hospital in Amarillo.
Dr. Havel joined Northwest Texas Healthcare System in 2016 and most recently served as interim CEO of the behavioral health hospital, according to a July 9 hospital news release. During her tenure, she also held roles including counselor, clinical supervisor, director of clinical services and case management.
The 100-bed psychiatric care facility is operated by a subsidiary of King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services.
