Irvine, Calif.-based UCI Health has named Vicky Asencio executive director of revenue cycle, according to a March 10 post on her LinkedIn page.
In her new role, Ms. Asencio leads initiatives to improve A/R aging, coding accuracy, denial prevention and workflow efficiency, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Ms. Asencio joins UCI Health from Upland, Calif.-based San Antonio Regional Hospital, where she served as director of patient financial services since November 2018.
She previously served as director of business services at Pomona (Calif.) Valley Hospital Medical Center and director of performance improvement at Loma Linda (Calif.) University Medical Center.
