UCHealth selects Yvonne Rockwood to serve as COO of 2 hospitals

Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth appointed Yvonne Rockwood COO of Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colo., and Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo.

1. Ms. Rockwood comes to UCHealth from Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente’s Colorado facilities, where she served as executive director.

2. Prior to that, she was COO at Kaiser South Bay Medical Center in Harbor City, Calif.

3. She holds a MBA degree from Chapman University in Orange, Calif.

4. She will assume her new role on March 6, 2017.

5. Ms. Rockwood is replacing Marilyn Schock, who is leaving to serve as president of the yet-to-be built UCHealth Greeley (Colo.) Hospital.
